Aynalem Nigussie appointed as Minister of Revenues
A day after the farewell program hosted for Laqe yalew, former Minister of Revenues (MoR), a new governor for the institution was appointed on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
The inauguration ceremony was held for the new Minister of Revenues Aynalem Nigussie, who served as the Vice President of the University of Wollo, State Minister of Agriculture and the Economic Cluster Coordinator in Amhara Region, was held amidst the presence of management executives of the MoR and Customs Commission at the headquarters of MoR.
During the program, Laqe sent a message to the institute’s senior management and staff to work responsibly and sincerely alongside the new minister to achieve Ethiopia’s vision of covering its own expenses with its own income by 2022 Ethiopian Calendar and to efficiently carry out the institute’s plan to collect more than 450 billion Birr in the fiscal year 2022/23.
