Rica rolls out shopping service platforms
Rica Technology PLC has rolled out its online shopping service, known as Rica Shopping, the company announced Tuesday.
The launching program has been held at Ethiopian Skylight Hotel.
The service will be provided to customers through Rica Shopping mobile app. This fresh service too includes delivery orders such as foods, medicines and other commodities, which will be transported by Rica Trip, Habass Mohammed, a Shareholder at Rica Technology PLC., told Origins Business.

Rica Technology has expanded its trip services. Rica School mobile app has also been unveiled to give transportation services for students.
Rica Technologies has also increased the number of chauffeurs. Launched in May 2022, Rica Trip service has attracted thousands of service providers.
“Close to twenty-three thousand chauffeurs have been registered to provide modern taxi-hailing services via Rica Ride mobile app,” Habass said, adding, “ten thousand of them are actively working.”
Rica Trip drivers have been receiving a commission of 5% for their services, which is the lowest among competing firms, according to Habass.
Modern taxi hailing services are mushrooming in Addis Abeba.
