Role of inclusive national dialogue for business activities discussed
Yonas Adaye (PhD), the recently appointed Commissioner of Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission stressed the need to have peace to conduct business activities in the country.
Without a successful national dialogue and sustainable peace, investment-driven development is unthinkable, Yonas says. He also urged the need to cement collaboration among the Commission and AACCSA members towards the process of realizing peace.
Yonas was one of the panelists on the “Inclusive National Dialogue” discussion held on Wednesday as a sideline event of 75th year’s anniversary of Addis Abeba Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations (AACCSA).
Yohannes Woldegebriel, Director of Arbitration Institute and among the member of the Secretariats of AACCSA said that peace is an overriding concern to discharge Addis Chamber duties.
He also called for the establishment of new public-private dialogue forum to discuss on the laws and regulations, which will improve the private sector performance in the economy.
