Amhara Bank to launch operations on Saturday
Amhara Bank Share Company announced that it is set to formally launch its operations in the upcoming Saturday, June 18, 2022.
The Bank will launch operations across 70 branches and it has a plan to increase branches to 100 until July 2022, according to Melaku Fenta, Board Chairperson of the Bank.
With over 6 billion Birr paid-up capital, Amhara Bank was established by over 180 thousand shareholders.
Melaku said that the Bank has a business motto called “Beyond Banking”, which the bank contributes its part to discharge its Corporal Social Responsibilities (CSR).
Amhara Bank will target on women and other section of the society to enable realization of their dreams through idea financing platform, Melaku said in a presser on Monday at Hilton Hotel.
Meanwhile, the Bank said it has paid the whole day transportation fee of Anbessa Bus journeys that will be made on Saturday across the city and its surroundings as part of the launching program.
