Fuel subsidy registration launched at Ethio Telecom sales centers
Ethio Telecom said that it has launched registration of beneficiaries for fuel subsidy scheme at its sales centers.
The scheme was initiated by the government.
In a bid to realize the scheme, Ethio Telecom has been working with Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
The new scheme is targeted to benefit public transport providers or their legal representatives. The telecom giant has planned to register the beneficiaries through Telebirr mobile money service. Targeted beneficiaries are required to bring their car ownership book or libre and renewed ID’s to get registered for the service.
