Ministry invites bids to conduct feasibility study of new fertilizer plants

Ministry of Mines (MoU) has launched a new bid on Friday to conduct a detailed feasibility study for the establishment of natural gas based fertilizer plants.

Consultant bidders are expected to submit their Expression of Interests (EOI), either alone or as a consortium for the bid, an EOI seen by Origins Media reads.

The objective of the feasibility study is to assess the feasibility of establishing a fertilizer plant, at a suitable location in Ethiopia which shall be determined by the Consultant. The work to be undertaken under this study will cover three major areas; technical feasibility, economic and financial evaluation, and environmental impact assessment and mitigation measures, the Ministry announced.
