Dashen Bank, Eagles line System Technology agree to implement digital payment system
Dashen Bank and Eagles Lion System Technology agreed Tuesday to implement financial transactions through Dube Pay Technology app.
The agreement, which will enable the signatories to serve their customers, has been signed by Yohannis Million, Digital Service Officer at Dashen Bank and Besufikad Getachew, CEO Eagles Lion System Technology.
The new app will provide services in Amharic, English, Oromigna, Somaligna, and Tigrigna languages. Dube Pay will enable customers to get purchase on loan services thereby boosting sales for businesses.
Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Addis Abeba, Dashen Bank is one of the pioneer banks in Ethiopia in terms of introducing digital financial solutions and banking technologies.
Dube Pay is a global and secured payments scheme. Dube Pay system is a tech developing company that previously developed Cash go, Guzo go and Game Rooms apps.
Dashen along with Moneta Technology introduced Amole, an Omni-channel seamless banking experience in 2018 so that the customers use it to interact with the bank through various channels such as mobile, internet, Short Message Services (SMS).
The Bank has also a plan to unveil fresh exclusive and shared projects with other institutions.
