Five grand events, exhibitions slated to be held in Addis

Five high-end trade shows and a series of conferences and workshops are going to be hosted in Addis Abeba.

Trade and Fairs Consulting Group which is representative of the world’s largest trade show organization Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH in partnership with the German Embassy, Addis Abeba Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations (AACCSA), Africa Union, and Ministry of Tourism will jointly organized the trade shows and conferences.

PERFORA Made in Germany, Africa Sourcing & Fashion Week, Africa Home Finance & Show, and Africa Safety and Security Week which are focused on garment and fashion design, furniture, leather, and similar product industries are the show to be taken place in Addis Abeba.

According to German Ambassador for Ethiopia and State Minister of Tourism, these events are believed to bring great opportunity for the country in creating industry linkages, enhance MICE, expanding investment and building image of the country.

Meanwhile, Addis Chamber signed Memorandum of Understanding agreement with the German Company Trade & Fairs Consulting GMBH to work in partnership. Mr. Shibeshi Betemariam, Secretary General of the Chamber and Skander Negasi, CEO of the Trade & Fairs GMBH signed the agreement.
