Aviation regulator revokes ban on Boeing 737 Max airplanes
The Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) has lifted a flight ban of Boeing 737 Max Airplanes, effective as of Monday April11, 2022.
ECAA banned flight of Boeing 737 Max Airplane anywhere across Ethiopian Airspace since March 15, 2019 following the crash of ET-302 Max Airplane March 10, 2019.
Nonetheless, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been conducting rigorous investigation bidding to find out the underlying reasons that caused the crash and come up with inviolable regulation that should be enforced. On top of that, the ECAA has conducted rigorous and careful inspections on the alterations made in design of the airplane as well as the regulations put in practice, according to the statement issued by the Authority.
