Private airlines owners honor Wosenyeleh (Col.), former Civil Aviation Director-General

Private Airlines owners that are operating in Ethiopia have honored Wosenyeleh Hunegnaw (Col), former Director General of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA).

Wosenyeleh (Col.) has served as a Director General of ECAA for 12 years.

On Monday, private aviation owners organized a program at Sheraton Addis to recognize the former Director General and awarded him an automobile.

“Being a Director General for 12 years is a long service and creating a common ground for all is a difficult task,” said Dagmawit Moges, Minister of Transport and Logistics, who attended the award program along with Getachew Mengistie, new Director General of ECAA and other officials of the Authority.

Solomon Gizaw (Capt.), Managing Director of Abyssinia Flight Services and Aviation Academy and Frehiwet Tessema, Owner and General Manager of Aquarius Aviation also praised Wosenyeleh’s dedicated service.
