Addis Chamber partners with Hibret Bank to use technology

Addis Abeba Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) announced Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with Hibret Bank to utilize modern financial technology.

The agreement permits AACCSA to modernize its activities through the utilization of technology in the financial sector.

The agreement has been signed between Mesenbet Shenkutie, President of AACCSA and Melaku Kebede, CEO of Hibret Bank.

“AACCSA has restructured way of doing businesses and this agreement will help us to modernize our activities,” Mesenbet said.

Melaku on the other hand said, “Besides modernizing collection of AACCSA members’ payments in a modern way, Hibret is keen to boost its ties with the Chamber through take part in AACCSA’s events.”

“Including AACCSA’s headquarters construction Hibret Bank will participate on all projects of the chamber,” he said.

AACCSA’s staff will access provision of loan from Hibret Bank, which is part of the agreement.

Shibeshi Betemariam, Executive Secretary of AACCSA on his part disclosed that the agreement includes trainings, shared social responsibilities and engaging jointly in other national issues.
