Wegagen Bank opens new branch at AU HQs
Wegagen Bank’s Pan African Branch located on the Premises of African Union (AU) has officially been inaugurated by Aklilu Wubet, CEO of Wegagen Bank, Getye Mekuria, Acting Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer and Diallo, Facilities Management Unit Director at African Union Commission.
The inauguration held on Monday, February 14, 2022.
In his remark, Mr. Aklilu said: “This year we are celebrating our Bank’s 25th anniversary and the opening of the Pan African branch in this historic place of great significance to the Peoples of Africa adds another milestone to Wegagen Bank as well.”
“I assure you that we will provide competitive and quality banking service to the staff of AU that brings a meaningful change in their life,” he added.
Among the service portfolio provided by the new branch includes soft loans such as mortgages, vehicle and consumer loans with highly attractive interest rate and by far less contribution from the staff as well as technology based services like payment card, mobile and internet banking, Aklilu said.
