Ethiopian transports over 110 mln stems of flowers

Ethiopian Cargo has transported more than 110 million stems of flowers for Valentine’s Day.

In the past two weeks, Ethiopian Cargo operated 86 flights mainly from Ethiopia, Kenya, Ecuador, Colombia, Miami (US) in to Europe, transporting more than 110 million stems of flowers.

Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services, the largest cargo network operator in Africa and global multiple award winner airline, is extending its services in this month of valentine and is transporting fresh roses to different countries.

Every year, Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services, the freight division of Ethiopian, transports millions of roses across the world. In February last year, it has transported around 95 million stems of flowers.

The airline’s state- of-the-art cargo terminal fitted with different range of temperatures as well as its modern temperature controlled aircraft enable it to transport and deliver flowers for the Valentine’s Day as fresh as received. Ethiopian Cargo, with its operational efficiency and market focused approach, is becoming a globally growing and reliable brand.
