Ethio Telecom, Ministry join hands for crowdfunding
Ethio Telecom has made a huge investment in the education sector through provisioning of fixed broadband and satellite internet service for a school net program worth over 4.8 billion Birr in parallel to other multidimensional support to the sector.
Ethio Telecom has further announced that it has joined the Ministry of Education campaign aimed at reconstruction of schools recently destroyed by the war and get students back to school.
To this effect, Frehiwot Tamru, CEO of the Ethio Telecom and Birhanu Nega (Professor), Minister of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the reconstruction of the destroyed schools through crowd funding.
