The newly built headquarters of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) is to be inaugurated next week.
The construction of the new HQ has been going on in the last six years.
Built at a cost of over a quarter of a billion dollars, the country’s tallest building is completed. Sprawled on 150,000 square meters of land, the 200 meters tower has 46 storeys with two 5-storey podiums.
With over 1.2 trillion Birr assets, the Bank has reported a profit of almost seven billion Birr in the first quarter of this financial year, achieving 148 percent of its target for the financial period.
Meanwhile, CBE has also a plan to celebrate its 80th year anniversary during the headquarter inauguration.
