Abay Insurance amasses gross profit of over 75.56 mln Birr
Abay Insurance S.C has registered a gross profit of over 75, 564 million Birr from general insusrance business in the concluded fiscal year on June 2021.
The profit shows a 10.8 percent increment from the previous year performance of over 68,175 million Birr, according to the statement issued by the Insurance company.
Abay’s gross premium income figure registered over 362.021 million Birr and paid a netted claim of 91,003,488 million Birr, stated the report.
Meanwhile, Abay has acquired an investment return of 46,617.8 million from non-life insurance business, which shows an increment of 16.4 percent from the previous year performance of over 40 million Birr. The result is mainly attributed to the careful measurements taken in order to have a better return on the investment activities especially from interest income on timer deposit, says the report.
