Ethiopia earns $42.75 mln in exports from industries

The recently restructured Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration said that Ethiopia has garnered $42.75 million from the export of manufacturing industries in three months.

A plan has been set to secure $42.85 million earnings in this quarter year. 

“Due to the continuous follow-up and support to the industries, 99.8 percent of the plan was achieved,” said a statement issued by the Ministry on Thursday.

Ministry said that it has provided supports to 14 industries in addition to supplying 35,742 tons of crude palm oil to edible oil factories.

The Ministry indicated that it has been working to ease the challenges in the industrial sector.
