MultiChoice Ethiopia inaugurates branch in Hawassa
MultiChoice Ethiopia, Africa’s leading entertainment company, is about to inaugurate its branch in Hawassa city this weekend.
“We have a plan to open branches in Hawassa and other cities as the market has untapped potential,” said Ezana Wubishet, MultiChoice Ethiopia Communication Manager.
“We are registering a tremendous growth in subscribers’ numbers, reaching-out people and services,” said Ezana.
With regards to the MultiChoice’s Showmax service, he said, “It is unique because that’s like Netflix, an entertainment hub, which enable customers to choose packages.” “HBO content is also included in the Showmax.”
Ezana added: “Football contents will be part of the showmax.”
MultiChoice Ethiopia has launched Abol TV, an Ethiopian movie, series, reality show, kid’s content, and music TV station in March 2021.
Through MultiChoice Ethiopia, DSTV has multitude of packages that suits customer’s choices.
The company has organized a media showcase 2021 on Tuesday at Sheraton Addis. The program has sought the participation of officials from the Ethiopian Media Authority (EMA) and Ethiopian Football Federation.
Mohammed Idris, EMA’s Director General has appreciated achievements of MultiChoice Ethiopia and pledged to provide a continuous support.
Since 2000 MultiChoice Ethiopia has operated as a franchise run entirely by Ethiopians for Ethiopians.
